- Wear plain dark, non-white clothing that covers your shoulders and chest.

RRB NTPC 2026 photo & signature: frequently asked questions
What is the RRB NTPC 2026 photo size?
There is no photo size, because you do not upload a photo. For CEN 06/2026 the application captures your photograph live through a webcam or your phone's front camera (para 14.4). The notice says you are not required to upload a pre-existing photograph.
Can I upload a resized or old photo for RRB NTPC 2026?
No. Taking a picture of a printed or on-screen photograph leads to summary rejection. Use a pure plain white background, wear dark non-white clothing, and do not wear a cap, mask or spectacles. Do not use a photo resizer for the NTPC photo.
What is the RRB NTPC 2026 signature size?
A scanned signature as a JPG/JPEG between 30 KB and 49 KB, at least 140 pixels wide × 60 pixels high, scanned at 100 DPI or more (para 14.5.1). This tool outputs a 140 × 60 px JPG inside the 30–49 KB window.
My signature JPG is only 5 KB. Will RRB accept it?
No. The minimum is 30 KB. A 140 × 60 px signature is naturally only a few KB, so this tool adds harmless padding data to reach 30 KB without changing how it looks, and never goes above 49 KB.
Which ink and style should I sign in?
Black ink on white paper, in running handwriting. A signature in block or capital letters, in non-black ink, or on a non-white background is a rejection reason in the notice.
What is the last date to apply for RRB NTPC 2026?
Apply online by 6 Nov 2026 (23:59). The fee can be paid until 8 Nov 2026, and the correction window is 9–18 Nov 2026. Confirm the dates in the official notification.
How many posts are in RRB NTPC CEN 06/2026?
3,548 graduate-level posts across all RRBs: Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist. Vacancies are provisional and can change.
Do I need to upload any certificate?
Only SC/ST candidates who want the free train travel pass upload their SC/ST certificate, as a PDF under 400 KB. Upload a PDF or a phone photo/scan here and it is converted and compressed.
Is ExamPhotoTool an official RRB website?
No. ExamPhotoTool is an independent tool and is not affiliated with the Railway Recruitment Boards or Indian Railways. Apply only on rrbapply.gov.in.
Is my signature uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser. Your signature and certificate never leave your device.
Is this tool free?
Uploading, fixing and previewing is free. The clean full-quality signature JPG, plus unlimited resizing for 24 hours, costs ₹5 (slightly more in the last 3 days before the deadline). If you also fix the certificate PDF, the Complete Exam Application Kit is ₹6.
